There’s nothing quite like a little star power to make your holiday party a success. That’s the recipe the Atlanta Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce employed last week for its annual bash.
The Dec. 9 event at Einstein’s included a cameo by gay actor and comedian Leslie Jordan, who was in Atlanta for a two-night stop of “Gin & Regret.” He stopped by the AGLCC to promote the show and offer a a bit of off-color humor. It is Leslie Jordan, after all.
Also on hand was the cast of “Scrooge in Rouge,” which is performing at nearby 14th Street Playhouse. The cast of the campy holiday production, which includes drag personality Varla Jean Merman, is becoming a bit of fixture at Einstein’s. After their opening night performance Dec. 3, they hit the gay-popular restaurant and bar for a reception.
