What’s the difference between a holiday party thrown for business types and a holiday-themed charity event? A distinct lack of drag queens and puffy sweaters with reindeers on them.
The Atlanta Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce hosted its holiday party on Wednesday at the Hotel Palomar. The festive crowd enjoyed hors d’ oeurves and cocktails, but dressing in casual business attire didn’t leave much room for holiday adornment.
Across town, the bingo-loving fans of Pets Are Loving Support took full advantage of the holiday theme, showing off candy cane earrings and blinking sweaters during “Hard Candy Christmas.”
The chamber is looking ahead to its Community Expo on Feb. 13. The event is set for the Georgia International Convention Center in College Park.
