Fourth Friday Networking with Atlanta Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce is always a family affair, but maybe never quite as much as February’s joint effort with the high-profile LGBT nonprofits at the Rush Center.
The gay business group gathers on the fourth Fridays of each month to let off some steam and network at various member businesses.
AGLCC promoted the evening as a gathering that, this time in particular, was “all about community.” That’s because February’s event partnered not only with gay-owned AGLCC member restaurant Radial Café, but also with its neighboring Rush Center residents of Georgia Equality, Atlanta Lesbian Health Initiative, Atlanta Pride and MEGA Family Project. The event was co-sponsored by AGLCC and Stonewall Bar Association of Georgia.
Radial provided the noshes for the ticketed event.
The AGLCC, which hosts weekly Business Builder Luncheons in various parts of town and holds several other monthly gatherings for members and non-members alike, just wrapped up a busy month, including their LGBT Community Expo (view photos).
