The Atlanta Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce, with its love for gay and gay-friendly businesses always endless, finally got a room to share its passion. Sort of.
The LGBT networking group returned to the Artmore Hotel in Midtown on April 22 and settled into the comfy confines of the boutique hotel’s lounge and secluded outdoor space for its Fourth Friday Networking. The hotel also hosted the event in May 2010.
The group heard from Justin Nelson and Chance Mitchell, co-founders of the National Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce. The pair pitched the group’s August conference in Las Vegas and touted the lure of Atlanta and the potential for hosting a similar event here sometime in the future.
Up next for AGLCC: Its Fourth Friday event for May makes way for the long Memorial Day Weekend, meaning it shifts a week earlier to May 20. It’s also rocking out, spending the night with Hard Rock Café downtown.
