Drag queens from across the land flocked to East Point on Saturday for the open-air spectacle that is the 17th Annual East Point Possums Show, attracting hundreds of fans and raising thousands of dollars for charity.
It was a night of big hair, bawdy ladies and lots of tips to benefit Lost N Found Youth that made the gay-friendly city south of Atlanta even gayer for a night. Organizers say the event raised more than $25,000 after expenses that will go LNF, which cares for LGBT teens in Atlanta.
There's little wonder, then, that the event is one of the best during Atlanta's gayest month.
