The Atlanta Bucks Rugby Football Club closed out its home schedule Saturday with a mud-soaked match against crosstown rivals High Country.

imageHigh Country dropped the Bucks (1-6) for the second time this season, though the squad showed resilience throughout the messy match. The rain soaked and muddy field impacted the Bucks’ plans for Fan Appreciation Day, which was touted in the days leading up to the event with a commercial on Logo. The Bucks also lost to High Country on Feb. 28.

The Bucks travel to Philadelphia on April 4 for their lone match this season against a gay opponent, the Philly Gryphons Rugby Football Club. After that, the Bucks are scheduled for their monthly Bar Night at the Eagle on April 18.
