Four DJs, a neon dance space and special performances turned BJ Roosters into a costumed pit of glow-in-the-dark craziness on Saturday.
As if go-go dancers and porn stars aren't enough? Not on this Saturday for the bar's Neon Birthday Ball that featured DJs Vicki Powell, Robert Ansley and Stan Jackson. The event celebrated the 41st birthday of co-owner Bobby Hamill and the 50th of resident DJ Tommy Fleenor. It included special performances by the Clubesque dance troupe.
Saturday's party proved that you can indeed top a night of sexy savagery and Greek gods, the theme of Hamill's birthday bash last year. And just in case the event didn't have enough to celebrate, it also marked the anniversary of the go-go boy bar moving into its new, more expansive digs.
