Chart-topping singer Kesha was added to Atlanta Pride's entertainment lineup, giving a major boost to the festival next month.
Kesha (photo), known for the hits “Tik Tok,” Die Young,” “We R Who We R” and “Praying,” will play the Coca-Cola Stage on Oct. 12. Indonesian pop stars Niki (“See You Never”) and Stephanie Poetri (“I Love You 3000”) have also been added to the lineup.
Atlanta Pride Executive Director Jamie Fergerson was “thrilled” with the addition, which Pride officials announced on Friday.
“We’re excited to continue building a diverse and dynamic line up with the additions of Niki and Stephanie Poetri, and we are thrilled to announce Kesha’s performance, which is made possible through our partnership with rainbow level sponsor AT&T and media partner iHeartMedia,” she said in a press release.
Kesha, Niki and Stephanie Poetri join a Pride lineup that already includes Daya, Max and Ally Brooke. Pride announced its initial entertainment lineup earlier this month.
The Atlanta Pride Festival takes place Oct. 12-13 in Piedmont Park.
