The Atlanta Executive Network mixed and mingled on Thursday, continuing its series of cocktail hours with an evening in Midtown at lesbian favorite Bellissima.
The casual happy hour is a respite between the gay business group’s more formal monthly gatherings. That happens on Thursday, when Donna Garland, a communications executive with the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention, headlines the AEN meeting.
Early next month, AEN takes its Mix & Mingle series to LeBuzz in Marietta Sept. 7. Two days later, the group joins with the Atlanta Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce for Fall Madness, the annual speed networking event that drew more than 175 people when it was held in March 2009 and a crowd larger than 200 people when it was held last March.
