Three LGBT business groups joined forces on Thursday to help more than 100 people pick up tips, contacts and plenty of business cards during Fall Fling Speed Networking.
In a down economy, it’s little wonder that the gays put on their best business look and hit the event with the Atlanta Executive Network, Atlanta Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce and Out & Equal Atlanta at the Melia Hotel in Midtown.
Local LGBT executives were on hand to offer tips between sessions of fast-paced networking. Think speed dating, but with hope for a happy ending of the professional kind, not the personal. The event matched the success of past networking sessions, including Fall Madness in September 2010 (photos) and March Madness earlier that year (photos).
The effort kicked off in March 2009 with more than 175 people when AEN and Out & Equal created the joint effort (photos).
