It’s that time again. Time for all those gay holiday jocks to get nipply braving the cold in nothing but Speedos for our pleasure – and a good cause. Dip into Christmas packages gone by to psyche up for this year’s Atlanta Santa Speedo Run? Don’t mind if we do.

The fifth annual nearly naked jaunt through Midtown takes place on Saturday. The pre-party at Hudson Grille Midtown is as much a draw for gawkers as it is for runners, so be sure to get an eyeful wish them well. Who knows, you might even strike up a brisk bromance.

And be sure to donate to your favorite participants as well. It’s an event that touches your heart as well as other body parts. This year’s fun run benefits Kate’s Club, which helps Atlanta kids and teens face life after the death of a parent or sibling. So not everyone who participates is gay, but pretty much everything about the event is. Nine of Santa Speedo's Top 10 fundraisers this year are members of our tribe, and that’s just a fraction of individuals and teams signed up to strip down.

As in every bulging year to date, we are so there. That means we are uniquely positioned to offer jiggling jingle bell visions that add flair to their frisky fundraising. When you’re done here, be sure to check out more than 1,000 photos in galleries from past Santa Speedos hereherehere and here. Fine, you horndog. Ogle just the hunkiest hunks from 2012, 2011, and 2010. Here's how we like a little Santa served with our Speedo.

Smells like team spirit.

There’ll be lots of Santa hats, and that’s certainly OK. Why not mix it up with stove top hats, pipes and scarves? The Speedos may make it way too hot for Frosty the Snowman realness, but since you already mastered bravery by basically streaking, go ahead and tackle creativity for bonus points.

Team McDreamy.

Team McThemey.

Men in black.

Stand out in a crowd.

Red is everybody’s color when it comes to holiday cheer and Speedos for a cause. As if running through town in your skivvies didn’t draw enough attention, think of other colors and variations that stay on point but also set you apart.

Leather-Levi realness.

It might rain Saturday. Maybe don’t (or do) wear white.

Ladies with an attitude.

Oh yes, lesbians. You’re by no means left out of the gay hotties with bodies. Santa Speedo Run wraps your packages in little to no clothing for the cause as well. Bikinis, sports bras and running shorts? Stripes, ski caps and fur skirts? Yes, yes, and yes!

Marketing opportunities.

Sex sells, and everybody knows it. As long as you and yours are there raising money, why not raise awareness for your business or cause, too? Sandwich boards sort of defeat the fun of near nudity, so paint that logo directly where eyes will land. Of course, chests aren’t the only option.

Dynamic duos.

Double your pleasure, double our fun. Grab a buddy and figure out how to run for the cause as a pair.

Let’s play Halo.

Or distract them with shiny objects.

Or scarf  it up.

Come one, come all.

Bring your whole tribe because everyone's welcome. Getting crazy is just more fun with friends, and bigger crowds get the giving going. There’s a reason people say “the more the merrier.”
