The “Best of the Big A” is out this week from Access Atlanta, a publication of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. It’s the paper’s annual take on the best of this and that from across the region. And frankly, it’s a little scary who the paper and their readers tapped for “Sexiest weatherperson in Atlanta.”
Your pick? Karen Minton from WSB. Really? You readers should really be ashamed. She’s frumpy, dowdy and not all that interesting to watch. Second on the list is Dagmar Midcap from WGCL. She’s got to be the one that makes lesbians swoon. And the paper agrees, picking Midcap as No. 1 for their list.
On the guy side, Jim Cantore from the Weather Channel ranked fourth. Fourth? Clearly, old straight men were the top voters in this poll. Minton first and Cantore fourth? Shameful. Sadly, the paper’s picks didn’t even include a guy. Hello? The AJC is stocked full of the gays; where were they when this voting went on?
Unfortunately, the readers and the paper completely missed CNN weather hunk Rob Marciano.
