Atlanta ready to ‘Say Yes’ to ‘full Monte’ on TLC

In the cutthroat business of reality TV, a seventh season premiere means people are watching. So Friday’s return of local brides and their handlers on TLC’s “Say Yes to the Dress Atlanta” is welcome news for the gay-inclusive cast, guests and local fans.

As we set our DVRs,  there's no doubt that bridal consultant Monte “Jack me up!” Durham is our favorite part. His quips, commitment and ability to stay calm in a Bridezilla storm make the show for us. Will the season include his own big gay wedding in D.C.? Can’t wait to find out. In the meantime, check out his profile video above and find out why brides request “the full Monte.” Love him!

Besides Durham, we’re also hoping for much more of the same when it comes to same-sex weddings. The show's local headquarters at Bridals by Lori “Says Yes” to gay inclusion. You can revisit their visits with boob-o-metering lesbian brides and a pair of Atlanta grooms who stole our hearts after choosing groomsmaid dresses. It's a whole different kind of gay Atlanta reality chaos.

“Say Yes to the Dress Atlanta” Season 7 premieres Friday, June 6 at 9 p.m. on TLC.
