From strippers on fire trucks and shirtless guys in the park to hunks at every turn, Atlanta Pride is perfect for gay guys wanting to fluff their Pride flagpole. So it's little wonder that Scruff users are so hot and bothered for the festival.
It's not even until October. (Though you can have a little taste all June long.)
When Scruff polled, ahem, its users, gay Atlanta guys said they plan to make it to the festival in big numbers. Just under 66 percent committed to attending the weekend-long festival, which is set for Oct. 10-11 in Piedmont Park.
From Scruff, which released the poll this week:
We recently asked the SCRUFF community a question via in-app survey: Will you be attending any pride celebrations in your city this year? More than 70,000 of you responded! Based on this data, we were able to determine which cities are home to residents most excited to wave their pride flags – whether they attend a parade, go to an all-night dance party, or host a barbecue with friends.
Scruff users in Minneapolis were most excited about their city's Pride celebration, with nearly 78 percent saying they will be on hand. Here's how Scruff users in Atlanta compare:
- Minneapolis (77.6%)
- Denver (73.2%)
- Seattle (70.9%)
- Chicago (69.1%)
- San Francisco (68.5%)
- Atlanta (65.9%)
- New York City (61.3%)
- Boston (60.1%)
- Los Angeles (53.3%)
- Miami (52.5%)
And when Scruff users come to party in Atlanta, things get wild. And hairy.
