Atlanta’s big Pride festival isn’t until October of course, but the Atlanta Pride Committee on Wednesday announced a full month of events to tide you over and commemorate the anniversary of the Stonewall riots.
What has been a Stonewall Week of events in the past is a month-long fandango this year, as Atlanta Pride rolls out the gay carpet on an entire Stonewall Month of discussions, shows and fundraisers for 2012.
The Stonewall and Pride cornerstone East Point Possums Show (top photo) is of course on the list, as are the Georgia Equality Evening For Equality gala, Pride Seder and Sylvia Rivera event. Tons of new events with a broad spectrum of LGBT folks in mind are added to this year’s Stonewall rainbow of fruit flavors.
Check out the full schedule below, and you can always ramp up with our Stonewall photo galleries from last year, including the East Point Possums Show, Evening For Equality and the Sylvia Rivera Breakfast.
