imageAtlanta Pride is never just a weekend in the park. Nightlife events make sure there is no rest for the weary. In addition to parties all over town, the official lineup includes four huge throwdowns this year. Through partnerships with Jungle for an opening night afterparty, party promoter Chris Coleman for a closing night with DJs Chus + Ceballos (photo), plus Curve magazine and Pandora Events for a gigantic women’s party, the Atlanta Pride Committee lets you Pride it up through the wee hours all weekend long. The whole fandango kicks off at the Georgia Aquarium with “Ru Paul’s Drag Race” alum Jujubee as well as DJs Corey Craig and Jay McCracken. The Pride festival is scheduled for Oct. 7-9 in Piedmont Park. The aquarium opener repeats a popular event that debuted in 2009 and saw another capacity crowd last year (view photos).
