Sassy drag street performer Baton Bob took to Midtown on Wednesday to celebrate the Supreme Court's DOMA dump. And then he had some sort of scuffle with Atlanta police.

He announced his celebration march on Facebook, happily shifting his focus from the Paula Deen saga.

"Now moving on from the BUTTER QUEEN SOGA,......I'm getting ready to head out to 14 Street and Peachtree for my morning SET!!!!!!......Today, I am dedicating my SET to 'GAY MARRIAGE'!!!!!!.....Here Comes The BRIDE!!!!!.....I should be able to MARRY the mother F*CKING MAN of my DREAMS, WITHOUT the APPROVAL of HUMANS!!!!!.....ALL I"M SAYING!!!!!"

But then trouble, according to a fan's post to his Facebook page.

OH LAWD...the po-lice has Baton Bob detained at Colony Square! Someone please do something...or everything you think about is gone fail! That man doesn't hurt anyone and is out there dancing er'day! WTW! #karma

Another fan posted a photo (above) with the tag "Free Baton Bob!"

An Atlanta police spokesperson could not be immediately reached on Wednesday. We'll update when we hear back.

Police confronted Baton Bob in early April during a performance in Buckhead after a complaint that his outfit was indecent. He fired back with one of his epic retorts to say he did not dangle his dinky.

UPDATE 2:22 p.m.: Atlanta police say Baton Bob, whose legal name is Bob Jamerson, was arrested on Wednesday after an incident with a private security officer at Colony Square, an office, residential and retail complex at the intersection of 14th and Peachtree streets. From Carlos Campos, an Atlanta police spokesperson:

"Baton Bob ... has been arrested due to reports of some sort of verbal altercation with security at 1197 Peachtree Street. An off-duty Atlanta Police officer working for Midtown Blue was called and made the arrest. Precise charges are pending. He will be transported to the Fulton County jail."

UPDATE 4:02 p.m.: Baton posted this statement:

"First of all, the atl police officer that responded to the incident thru security has been very respectful and gracious to me even in handcuffs. So, the situation escalated from a complaint from a security officer in the area and for some reason she rolled up on me like she didn't know who I was and like I had not been there before. For them to call police to come to intervene was not necessary. So, out of it, because of my fury, the Atlanta police officer did not understand the elements of the situation, so he was trying to do his job, respectfully and arrested my ass!!!!!!!!! I'll be out tomorrow so look out for my show at 14th and Peachtree. So now I'm waiting to be transported so I can sign my own bond and get the hell out of here. I want to verify, that the Atlanta police was respectful to me considering the circumstances. See you when I see you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
