Gays love when Ben Cohen pitches [photos]

Sexy cuddle bear and retired pro rugby player Ben Cohen played pitcher and Atlanta’s gays caught everything he threw their way on Wednesday as he headlined a fundraiser for his anti-bullying organization and threw out the first pitch for the Atlanta Braves.

The gays don’t make him nervous – Cohen picnics with the Atlanta Bucks and marched in Atlanta Pride – but tossing out the ceremonial pitch (see video) to start the Braves game sure did.

“I’m shitting myself, I’m not going to lie,” Cohen told the crowd.

Note to Cohen: No worries. You did great, even if you put a little too much muscle behind the pitch. We like that.

The event was Cohen’s second stop in Atlanta this month. Earlier in June, he was on hand for the screening of “Legalize Gay.” Wednesday’s event, Out in the Stands, was the second annual effort by the Braves to reach out to LGBT fans. More than 300 tickets were sold for the event, which also raised money for Cohen’s Atlanta-based StandUp Foundation.
