ATL wraps Memorial Weekend with all-day blast

What to do with an extra day to recuperate from all of Atlanta’s holi-gay parties? Go hard on Sunday, that’s what. Heretic obliged with a full-day roster of events that blasted the LGBT-ATL into summer.

The party to end-all Memorial Day Weekend closing parties started in the afternoon. The Summer Kickoff Patio Party was part cookout, part beer bust for Joining Hearts. The Big Peach Closing Party crowned the champs of Atlanta’s annual gay softball tournament, wrapping a full weekend of raucous parties to supplement round-robin play. We warned you.

But Heretic didn’t stop there. The Gender Fuzions Cabaret dragged the evening revelers into night with performances by Heather Daniels, Lauren LaMasters, Lacie Bruce, Al'Meria RichMan and Porsha Daniels. DJ Kidd Madonny put a bow on the whole shebang on Sunday night with thumping beats and custom visuals on the Heretic’s main dance floor. As promised.
