ATL RuGirls reign over Bottoms Up! Brunch

Add this share
One of the sweet surprises of post-lockdown Atlanta is Wussy’s Bottoms Up! Brunch. It features national headliners each month at City Winery. Locally raised queens from “RuPaul’s Drag Race” made September’s show special on Sunday.

Atlanta-born performers Trinity K. Bonet, Aiden Zhane and Tamisha Iman shared top billing, and Season 3 queen Nicole Paige Brooks played co-host with Ellasaurus Rex. Energetic up-and-comer Malachi (top photo) performed as well, including a live rap.

Like so many other queer party promoters and gay bars, Wussy does up Pride Weekend in Atlanta Oct. 8-10. That includes dance parties, performances, and two, count ‘em, two Bottoms Up! Brunches. Adore Delano and Landon Cider headline Saturday, and Aquaria headlines Sunday.
