Artsy Atlanta gay spreads his ‘Trash’ on Grindr

Getting trashy on Grindr doesn’t take long. Want to prison rape me? But this artsy queer takes his open relationship to the next level with some viral marketing. On Grindr.

Like that Cowtippers waiter using Grindr to help serve your needs, playwright Johnny Drago is hoping for the same. With his “talk artsy to me” headline, Drago transforms his Grindr profile into a teaser not just for his 5’10”, 150-pound self but also for “Trash.” It’s his campy dose of dark humor now playing at Onstage Atlanta.

It puts a new spin on the tired online cruising phrase, “no drama,” which is one of the 10 things to hate about Grindr. But do theater queens want their culture served up while searching for NSA dick? We’ll see. With a description like this, maybe so:

“I’ve been calling this Anna Nicole meets ‘Glass Menagerie’ meets ‘Hoarders’ – on diet pills,” Drago [tells the GA Voice].
