Armorettes drag race into Easter holigay mayhem

The Armorettes strapped on their Easter bonnets, returned to the parking lot of Burkhart's and did the Easter holigay right with its annual Drag Races on Sunday.

With the help of Jell-O shots, balloons, lipstick and even some Vienna sausages, the drag troupe delighted a crowd of hundreds despite occasional drizzle. HGTV's gay design guru David Bromstad was also on hand to enjoy the fun.

The Armorettes returned to Burkhart's on March 13 and snatched back their weekly Sunday night gig. The annual Drag Races raises funds to benefit the local HIV charities that the Armorettes donate to each year. And the event is always a mess of camp drag fun, just like 2015, 2014, 2013 and even the year before that.
