Gold’s set pulled from his latest release “Between the Spirit & the Flesh” – his fourth studio album — as “the gay pride poster boy” worked through his set. Gold (top photo) offered a mix of religion and sexuality on stage — and several wardrobe changes — that his fans come to expect.
“You can pretty much call me the gay pride poster boy because I’ve done so many [pride festivals],” the gay singer told Project Q Atlanta ahead of his Atlanta stop.
“It’s a huge pleasure. Even though I think my music and message is universal, I’ve always first and foremost cared about the gay community,” he added.
