Amy Ray serenades Atlanta Pride [photos]

Just before sunset on Sunday in Piedmont Park, a huge gaggle of gays gathered, weary from Atlanta’s big Pride weekend but determined to keep going. Indigo Girl Amy Ray and her band knew just what they needed.

With decades worth of songs from a career that includes her 2012 solo album “Lung of Love,” Ray stormed the stage for a long set of crowd pleasers. The Decatur born and raised legend rocked the hometown throng into the night and readied them for Pride’s traditional park closer, the Starlight Cabaret (view photos).
