Alternaqueers rock rowdy Sunday ‘Church’ set

Gay pied pipers DJ Vicki Powell and Grant “Sister Louisa” Henry flipped the concept of “church service” on its ear for their loyal “parishioners” during Powell’s May gig at Henry's Church of the Living Room & Ping Pong Emporium.

Returning to the scene of their epic Easter debauchery, Henry’s one-of-a-kind venue collided with Powell’s beats (photo) for another Sunday Service set to remember. The gays and gals who love both also merged effortlessly to create a dance party experience like no other in Atlanta. And soon in Athens too.
