When it comes to gay cute, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution fails. But really, it's your own fault that they can't find more cute same-sex couples. So let's fix that during your snowcaytion, please.
Leading up to Valentine's Day, the AJC set out to find “Atlanta's cutest couples 2014.” Since the couples self report their level of cuteness, the results for the straights are mixed. Worse still, of 73 submissions collected by Tuesday afternoon, there's a slim three LGBT and queerly straight couples.
Let's see how that changes if we leave a link to the results right here. Or suggest you use a little of that downtime during Icepocalypse to snap a selfie of you and your honey. Hashtag it #atlcutecouple and post it to Twitter and Instagram. Gay couple power!
Now, let's meet our cute couples that have already submitted their photos to the AJC.
Christopher Durham and his partner brought their smiles and Braves spirit. Durham (left) describes himself this way:
Fun loving guy — I love the outdoors, new food spots and enjoying friends in this busy world where phones are more important than a hug!
And he wouldn't mind at all if you helped him pay off his student loans.
Points to SirJesse Beller for the cute baby pic. Who doesn't love that?
An aspiring ally, encouraging a more beloved community, in a transient world; through optimistic service, reflection, and collaboration.
Beller plays a mean trumpet, too. Beller and wife Jennifer describe themselves as queerly straight allies.
Jacob Gallman-Dreiling (left) submitted their couple selfie with husband Luke Dreiling.
UPDATE | Looks like our story is prompting some to take action.
