Women were squeezing boobs again on Sunday, only this time, it was boob-shaped stress balls that entertained the Atlanta Lesbian Health Initiative’s T-Dance crowd at the Rush Center.
Even a few men and some drag queens got in on the tit-licious action. Designed to bring awareness to breast cancer and self-exams, folks went even further with the stress balls this time than they did when ALHI served up boobs in a bag to Decatur Women’s Sports League back in March.
Suffice it to say everyone was pretty hands on, and it seems few guests could resist squeezing them, flashing them, modeling them, and even holding them up as earrings.
The baubles were so popular at the T-Dance that they hardly had time to enjoy the DJ, dancing, cocktails and food by Radial Cafe. But of course, they made time for those treats as well.
And in truth, all the breast people were there to support the venerable women’s health agency and to hear more about the Rush Center’s LGBT Community Survey as well as plans for ALHI’s Garden Party, the group’s biggest annual fundraiser, set this year for Sept. 18 at Einstein’s.
What’s Garden Party? Lesbians probably don’t need to ask, but check out photos and a report last year’s shindig for a good idea of what it’s all about.
