AIDS Walk benefits from Stonewall T-dance

The last full day of Stonewall Week on Sunday featured a long list of events where the music was loud, the drinks plentiful and the boys were dancing.

imagePapi’s Stonewall T-Dance For A Cause at Las Margaritas on Cheshire Bridge was no exception. And like several events during Stonewall Week, this one also had a larger purpose: A portion of the proceeds from the event benefited AID Atlanta’s AIDS Walk.

So between the sets from DJs Tye West and Jay McCracken (top photo), you could buy a shot and feel good about it. You could also talk with some of the AID Atlanta reps on hand about the walk, the non-profit’s large fundraiser set for Oct. 18.

A final tally on how much the AIDS Walk will receive from the t-dance is not yet available.
