Even without a pool full of gay soup, AID Atlanta’s LOOP program is on to something. The major donor program for the HIV non-profit hosted another hit on Wednesday.
This time, they swapped the pool of a tony Buckhead home for a tony Buckhead art gallery, Austin Hill Art. More than 100 people attended Wednesday’s fundraiser – complete with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres – and helped raise more than $12,000. LOOP added a handful of new donors, too.
In July, LOOP hosted a fundraiser at a private home. Besides the pool full of shirtless hotties – the aforementioned gay soup – the event raised $13,175 for the HIV agency. Yes, there are photos of that, too.
For Cinco de Mayo, LOOP hosted a packed event that raised more than $12,000 and even attracted a handful of political candidates.
LOOP is AID Atlanta’s program for donors who contribute more than $1,200 a year.
