The contest to become Pride Houston’s 2015 Superstar got underway on Tuesday with “RuPaul’s Drag Race” Season 7 queen Adore Delano guest-judging the Top 13 belting out their best to impress.

Fans packed South Beach to get a load of the competitors and get up close and personal with the special guest judge (top photo). Delano also performed then signed autographs and posed for pics after the show. She knew what she was doing, too. You may also know her as semifinalist Danny Noriega on “American Idol.”

Audience members influence the eliminations each week for Pride Superstar. As evidenced in our photos below, all of them brought their A-game.

“Christopher Abide was eliminated after singing 'Gorilla' by Bruno Mars. He was in the bottom two with Christian Balzano, who was saved by audience applause,” Joey Guerra, Pride Superstar organizer, tells Project Q. “The top 3 in terms of score for the week were Michael Chiavone, Ektor and Daniel Ortiz.”
