Adam Lambert hits Atlanta for (female) strippers

imageGlam gay rocker Adam Lambert celebrated the long holiday weekend in Atlanta, staying up really late to party and drop dollar bills on strippers (of the female variety.)

About 3 a.m. on Tuesday, Glambert (top photo) tweeted this from his iPhone: Two amazing days off in Atlanta!! I had so much fun! Haven’t felt this “normal” in a long time.

If by normal he means seeing strippers with friends at the Pink Pony on Buford Highway, well then, OK. That’s where his Sunday evening started. Readers informed us that he then took his posse to gay stalwart Blake’s on the Park around 11:30 p.m. and relished the love until around 1 a.m.

Glambert’s on a massive Glam Nation Tour that hits Atlanta on Sept. 14. Maybe he was scouting out the nightlife offerings of our Southern city. Or Atlanta proved to be a convenient getaway between shows in Nashville, Knoxville and Charlotte.

imageEither way, he did our city one better than Liza Minnelli, who was due in concert here on Friday but instead gave us the finger and canceled her show at the last minute. Officially, knee trouble forced the pulling of the plug. Ancient and crazy may have won out over icon and diva.

There’s also speculation — we’re starting it right here, right now — that Glambert took a vacay in Atlanta for a rendezvous with hunk Tim Tebow (bottom photo). The Florida Gator turned Denver Bronco was also spotted here over the weekend dining at Two Urban Licks. And everyone knows that’s gay.

Tebow, by the way, is always ready to play.

Maybe Glambert will tell all during his stop on Oprah’s couch July 28.
