Ad Watch: Who’s on PQA this week

Like most blogs, we’ve got to pay the bills. And we do that, in part, through advertising.

With that in mind, we’re giving a shout out to our current crop and reminding you that clicking on their banner can be a good thing. Shameless plug? Maybe. But it’s a recession, after all, and we’re happy to have them.

Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre: They’ve got a pretty gay show coming in September with tickets for “ABBA: The Music” going on sale Friday.
The Brief Encounter: The local, gay-owned portal offers quite the selection of underwear, swimwear, sportswear and accessories.
Las Margaritas: The place with the Mexican eats brings in DJ Jay McCracken for Papi’s New Brunch on Sundays.
Outwrite Bookstore & Coffeehouse: The retail outlet at the corner of gay and gayer in Midtown has scheduled a full slate of June events.

There’s also our ongoing sponsorships and partnerships:

Social Tuesdays, which hits the Glenn Hotel this week.
Pets Are Loving Support and its monthly bingo event on Wednesday.
Atlanta Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce, which hosts a panel discussion on social media and marketing during WOW Wednesday this week.
Mike Alvear, the noted sex advice columnist and Project Q Atlanta contributor who has a seminar for the gay boys on June 20.
Pocket Rocket Guide, which has a new issue on the streets now.
Atlanta Pride Committee, which is busily preparing for Stonewall Week later this month.
Georgia Equality, which hosts Evening for Equality on June 27.
Pearl Day, which is looking forward to its Sept. 11 event at Six Flags.
