LGBTQ Atlanta United fans got prepped for the Unity Night match with music, drinks and tasty food at a tailgate party in the Gulch on Saturday.
All Stripes, the team’s LGBTQ fan group, hosted the party which featured DJ Black Sunshine and food from Las Margaritas.
Many also checked out a Unity Night match pregame tailgate party in the Home Depot Backyard, which is the 11-acre tailgating greenspace where the Georgia Dome once stood.
Then fans headed into Mercedes-Benz Stadium to watch Atlanta United beat the Montreal Impact 2-1.
Pre-game activities included the team wearing rainbow pre-game jerseys onto the field, LGBTQ fans helping with the "Spike Ceremony," and the United fan contingent Footie Mob putting on a rainbow Stonewall display in the stands. Here's the Q shot from Instagram:
