The gay science fiction and gaming group OutlantaCon helped put the queer in Dargon*con over the Labor Day holiday thanks to its annual Rainbow Flag Party.

The festivities unfolded Sept. 4 at the Sheraton in downtown Atlanta as part of Dragon*Con’s Brit Track and grooved to the ’80s tunes of DJ Dijit.

imageThe 24th annual Dragon*Con took place across three hotels downtown over the long holiday weekend earlier this month. It’s one of the largest multi-media, popular culture conventions held focusing on science fiction and fantasy, gaming, comics, literature, art, music and film.

Up next for OutlantaCon: Its gaming day on Nov. 6. The day-long event includes tournaments, open gaming, role-playing sessions and game shows.
