imageThe Bedlam parties are known for a male-and-female inclusive crowd of queer hipsters with great taste in original theme nights. The latest, Seven Sinners Sinning, helped melt the snow on Friday at My Sisters’ Room.

From creative minds including singer and event promoter Barry Brandon—who also organizes the Thursday Etcetera! Art & Music Showcases at Gilbert’s (view photos)—Bedlam asked Seven Sinners guests to dress as one of the fabled 7 Deadly Sins: lust, gluttony, greed, sloth, wrath, envy and pride. (Not Pride with a capital “P,” mind you.)

imageSome went for it and were up for the $20 bar tab for best costume. From the looks of our photo gallery, others just acted like it. That’s fine and dandy with the Bedlam folks, who introduce each new installment with a reminder from the dictionary:

bed·lam (bed?l?m). noun. a place, scene, or state of uproar and confusion… more commonly called, a lunatic asylum.

The event also included live performances by Brandon, JL, and SDR. On Feb. 11, Bedlam presents the Anchors Away party at My Sister’s Room. Come dressed as a pinup girl or military man (or vice versa). That one will feature a kissing booth.
