3 ways gay Atlanta is celebrating Madonna

Gay Atlanta loves some Madonna madness. And queens all over the metro wanting to celebrate the Queen of Pop turning 58 have a trio of nightlife options.

She's a gay icon. So digest the 10 lessons you've learned from her over the years and prepare to party. Three events will pay proper homage to Madonna and lead you right into the weekend so you can rest.

'Truth or Dare' Screening

Out on Film gets your Madonna celebration started on Wednesday. The LGBT film fest is partnering with City Winery to screen the controversial tour documentary “Truth or Dare.” The tickets benefit Out on Film. There are prizes and there is wine. Here's the event details. Enough said.

“Strike a Pose” – the revealing documentary about the seven dancers in the pop star's controversial “Blond Ambition Tour” in 1990 – is among the films being screened during Out on Film, which opens Sept. 29.

Celebrate Your Majesty @ Ten

The gay hotspot that knows a thing or two about celebrating pop stars cranks up the fun on Thursday to blow out the candles for Madonna's Birthday. There will be her hits from the DJ, her videos on the screens and even a special performance from Jealouse. Details.

Madonna-Rama @ Mary's

When it comes to celebrating Madonna, Mary's nails it (top photo). Every single year. Come dressed as your favorite Madonna and enjoy the videos, remixes and shows with DJ Diablo Rojo making all that music happen. You won't be sorry. Details.
