The gays with cowboy hats and boots showed up in force on Thursday for the return of their beloved 3 Legged Cowboy – even if it’s in a temporary home.
The Heretic premiered its 3 Legged Cowboy Night, complete with dance lessons, the corral, wagon wheels, chickens and disco ball from the country bar’s former space. It marked the start of a weekly event on Thursday and some Saturdays – at least until 3 Legged Cowboy finds a new, permanent home. That could happen as soon as early next year. The bar shut its doors in April.
The owners of the former country bar, Deana Collins (bottom photo left) and Sheila Whitehead (bottom photo right), were on hand, too, and their tribe took to Facebook to thank their supporters.
Thanks to everyone who came out tonight. What a GREAT night. Special thanks to Deana and Sheila for making this happen. Can't wait to see everyone Saturday night. NO COVER and free line dance lessons 8-9pm. See you there!!
