Big Peach smothers gay softball in eye candy

Add this share

One sure bet for gay Memorial Weekend fun in Atlanta is to stay in town and get your fill of the games, parties and visiting jocks in and out of uniform during the annual Big Peach softball tournament. Let these great shots from years past persuade you.

The Hotlanta Softball League hosts gay teams from all over the map, and the welcome mat rolls out for them with a Thursday Kickoff Party. The fun doesn't let up from there on out. Stiff competition on the fields by day and parties by night fill the whole weekend. That includes a now-legendary Hot Body Contest that strips tournament jocks to their skivvies. Project Q is something of a connoisseur of that barely dressed event by now. Check out our galleries from 201320122011 and 2010.

For 2014, the Hot Body fresh-meat extravaganza goes down at Blake’s on Saturday. And speaking of parties, everything comes to a head during the Closing Party Awards Show at Heretic on Sunday.

Oh, and there’s softball too. Don’t forget the softball. Ahem. Check out the full Big Peach Weekend Events calendar, find out who’s playing who at Metro Atlanta Softball Complex on Saturday and Sunday, or consult the tournament’s Official Guide.

Better yet, warm up to swing for the fences with these things we love about Atlanta’s Big Peach.

You see, everybody gets some action at Big Peach.

And enjoys off-the-field togetherness too.

It doesn’t matter if you win or lose. Because eye candy.

We’ve got spirit. Yes we do!

Anything goes, especially the clothes, at Saturday’s Hot Body Contest.

And we do mean anything. We’d say letting loose is what Big Peach is all about, but …

In the end, it’s mostly about this.
