How to wear white and blow Premiere Party queens away

Add this share

When hundreds of gay Atlantans descend on Mason Murer for Saturday’s annual Premiere Party, most of them will do cute crisp cocktail white. But we beg you to make our day and your selfies more memorable with these ideas.

Sure, the fundraiser for the gay-inclusive CHRIS Kids is about the children. And yes, it’s one of the best events of Atlanta’s LGBT Pride Month.

But if it wasn’t just a little bit about busting out those summer whites and stepping out in style, they wouldn’t make it a white-attire event. Premiere Party is fabulous, so think about matching that energy with a say-something ensemble that kick-starts banter between beverages, bites and beats.

Premiere Party pre-sales end on Thursday. That means you need to go get all of the event details and handle your business. Then you can spend the next 72 hours creating something from our little guide to showing up and showing out. Go ahead. Make our day. Please.

Of course you can hit your closet and look cute. Boring!

Or you can suit up and live a little.

But seriously. Why do this…

When you can be this?

At least give us a pop of color.

Or a hat.

Or both.

Someone is starting to get it.

A group project might serve ‘Top Gun’ realness.

Or solo. Come on. You wouldn't be surprised.

But you can be way more creative. You Know Who can help.

That's it. Who’s giving us ‘Clockwork Orange’? You!

Maybe not these long johns. But call me.

Yes, honey. Keep it gay, and never let it go.

Sisters got the creativity memo. In fact, they wrote it.

But if you wear this and jump out to scare people, you win.
