Jack Mackenroth knows the way to gay men’s hearts. The model, activist and former “Project Runway” designer challenges some sexy famous friends to strip down in a steamy social media campaign to clean up HIV’s dirty stigma.

Who doesn’t love a good shower scene? Mackenroth parlays his success from posting Gay Jock Realness during an AIDS Walk into the new effort to inundate your feed with gay shower selfies. He and guys from all over the world are channeling their social media prowess get you all lathered up against the word “clean” to describe HIV-negative guys and raise money for Housing Works, an AIDS housing program based in Brooklyn, Boston and Washington, D.C.

“I was inspired by the use of the word 'clean', especially common in gay culture, to describe oneself as STI/STD free. Indirectly this implies that HIV-positive people are somehow 'dirty,'” Mackenroth writes on the #weareALLclean campaign site.

“I thought a PG or PG-13 shower selfie or Vine video would be a fun way that everyone could easily show their support for finding a cure by using social media and by using the hashtag #weareALLclean when they post their photo with the link. They then nominate 3 other people to participate and hopefully donate to the project as well,” he adds.

We’re loving it on Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, and other social media sites. You have a week to post yours before World AIDS Day on Monday, Dec. 1. It’s simple:

1) Take a selfie or Vine video of yourself in the shower. ** NO EXPLICIT NUDITY**

2) Post your photo on Moovz and all social media platforms with the caption “Take HIV Shower Selfie Challenge raise $$ for AIDS cure  bit.ly/CUREAIDS #weareALLclean”

3) Challenge 3 or more other people to participate!

4) (Optional) DONATE!! Please consider a small donation if you are able. Every penny counts!

5) On World AIDS Day: Monday, December 1st, please change all your social media profile pix to your shower selfie photo and spread the word!!

The campaign offers no instructions on how to keep your phone from getting wet. You could even donate to another HIV organization or group closer to your heart if you so choose. Mackenroth kicked things off with his own shot (top photo) and continues to challenge and snag porn stars, actors and other social media personalities like Chris Salvatore, Samuel Colt, Jessie Colter and Seth Fornea.
