imageThe Decatur Women’s Sports League recently wrapped up its bowling season, but it’s hitting the lanes one more time for charity.

On Aug. 19, the sports league is hosting an evening of bowling at Suburban Lanes in Decatur to raise funds for the Susan G. Koman for the Cure, which supports breast cancer-related education and research. Half of the $10 donation benefits the cancer organization. View the full event listing for Bowling for the Cure.

The league is also preparing for its fall softball season, which opens Sept. 11 at Kelly C. Cofer Park in Tucker. Teams play on Fridays for eight weeks, though the league takes a break Oct. 30 during Atlanta Pride. The fee is $55 per player.
