No one held back in their comments this week on Project Q posts, whether the quips came below the posts, on our Facebook page or via our Twitter account—especially when it came to U.S. Rep Phil Gingrey, the fired Clayton teacher, “Idol” or “Biggest Loser” trainer Jillian coming out. Keep ‘em coming, and maybe you’ll see your opinion here next week.

Re: Clayton sacks teacher over alleged gay threat
imageRandolph Forde’s (top photo) teaching career in Clayton County ended Tuesday, three months after he was arrested for allegedly putting a hit on a student he thought was gay.

“Awww….Poor bigoted asshole! Has your victim’s selfish insistence on not being a target of discrimination and violence hurt you? Poor baby! My gosh! How very unfair of the world to demand that you behave like a human being.”
—margaretpoa

“Embarrassed your wife? Well, you should have thought of that before you put the hit out and threatened to punch the student in the mouth for simply being who he is.”
—John

How long will these homophobes continue to think THEY are the injured parties? His actions are vile and totally unprofessional. Praise to the school board who had the courage and wisdom to fire this hate mongering individual.”
—T Mikel

“A perfect case for the new Hate Crimes Bill!! He deserves to loose his job and should be behind bars!”
—Michael J. Workman

Re: Marietta’s Phil Gingrey fights gay marriage in D.C.
imageU.S. Rep. Phil Gingrey (R-Marietta, second photo) is sticking his nose in the recently passed gay marriage measure in the District of Columbia. He and other GOP lawmakers want to put the matter to voters—even though civil rights are not up for voter approval in D.C.

“Gingrey is an ass-clown of the highest order. Georgians could do much better for the 7th Congressional District. Sheesh.”
—Tim Cairl

“A right-wing Fox pundit once asked why the mere mention of “Christian” makes so many people recoil. This is a perfect example of why they do. How is it that “small government” right-wing Christian republicans somehow don’t mind big government to enforce their narrow views on the lives of everyone else?? Not one time did Jesus ever force anyone to do anything.”
—Forrest Cook

“Write to this A** H***! Let him know that equality belongs to all, and let him know that we will remember his name come election day.”
—Dean Kegans

“Marietta has always been an embarrasment to greater Atlanta. Cut the ‘burb loose and send it back to Mississippi.”
—Jim O. Brams

Re: A ‘Biggest Loser’ trainer—not Bob—comes out
imageSurprisingly, the first trainer to come out as any kind of L,G, B or T on “The Biggest Loser” isn’t Bob Harper. In a cover story in the February issue of Ladies’ Home Journal, it’s Jillian Michaels (third photo) who breaks the barrier by admitting she’s—at least—bisexual.

“Am I the only one not surprised?”
—Bella Rue

“I did not see that coming.”
—Grayson Thagard

“Well, it looks like I might have to get her to fully commit to my team. My work is never done…”
—Shannon Lynn Hames

Re: Project “Idol”: Tuesday’s Boston auditions, and Wednesday’s Atlanta auditions
imageColumnist Collin Kelley’s weekly snark on his guilty pleasure. He will say what you were thinking—or piss a few people off—in his recap of each “American Idol” Season 9 episode for Project Q Atlanta. (Fourth photo: Boston contestant Justin Williams)

“Did anyone else think that the whole Andrew Fenlon thing was staged? That seemed way to “spot on” for me. It even sounded like he was faking singing badly.”
—Karen

“GREAT COLUMN! Hilarious. I will read every week.”
—Kate

“[Victoria] Beckham looked like a very tan skeletor. Someone should’ve shared a sandwich with her. Maybe Randy?”
—Zak Topor Flint

“You’re the best part of American Idol, Collin.”
—Tania Rochelle

Re: Catholic school boys, sex, lies and videotape
imageLike the main character of his play “Good Boys & True,” gay playwright Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa attended an all-boy Catholic school, yet no scandals marked his stay like they do in Actor’s Express latest show. (Fifth photo: Lead actor Louis Gregory)

“Saw the show last night….it is without a doubt one of the best shows I have ever seen in Atlanta…the script, and more importantly, the cast was phenomenal. GO SEE IT!”
—Sumner Riddick

“Can’t wait for my partner & I to see this. We love Actors Express!”
