The jocks of the Southern Softpaw League gayly kicked off their fall season on Saturday at Southside Park, hosting opening ceremonies, a batch of games and – of course! – a post-games beer bust.
The gay league got an early start on the season with a Sept. 9 beer bust at Frogs. Since 2009, SSL and its parties benefit animal charities near and dear to gay hearts.
The season continues on Sept. 22 with a beer bust at gay-owned No Mas Cantina in downtown Atlanta after the games wrap. Drag queen Phoenix hosts the event.
