The Southern Softball League wrapped another Saturday of games in gay Atlanta’s fall softball season with a fundraising beer bust at No Mas Cantina. The Atlanta Phoenix team played host.
After Saturday’s games were done, the team upped the usual beer bust party formula for its charity by offering some high-end raffle prizes like art, doggie spa experiences, hotel stays and big-money gift baskets. Proceeds from the day benefited the Phoenix team’s charity READing Paws, which uses therapeutic dogs to help kids learn to read and build confidence.
The SSL fall season of games continues on Sept. 29, followed by an Atlanta Sharks beer bust at Cockpit.
