Who couldn’t embrace gay Olympic diving sensation Matthew Mitcham? For a while, it was sponsors. But now the sexy swimmer is getting funky, as in nailing an endorsement deal with Funky Trunks.
“I have been getting out there quite a bit, and I hope people are getting to know my personality,” he said.
Funky Trunks founder Duncan McLean said his company wanted Mitcham because he looked good in its product and his sexuality was not an issue.
