The Rush Center rocked out with and for gay-bies and baby dykes on Friday as the LGBT youth group JustUsATL hosted a variety show, art exhibit, dinner and raffle to benefit the group and the youth it serves.
About 100 people came out to see performers, artists, musicians, poets and other creative types showing off their talents. The event provided an opportunity for artistic expression and enrichment for the members of JustUs, a youth-led social and activist group for Atlanta-area queers and allies ages 13-28.
The group and its supporters of all ages also dug into grub provided by some gay-favorite restaurants. Raffle prizes raised money for JustUs programs, discussion groups and events.
