There was more leather than lace, but a festive crowd of about 300 people packed the monthly bingo fundraiser on Wednesday for Pets Are Loving Support.
Mixing in with hosts Bubba D. Licious and Alexandria Martin were Alan Penrod and partner Pup Nitro (top photo). Penrod is the reigning Mr. Atlanta Eagle and nabbed the second runner up spot at International Mr. Leather last year. With the theme Leather & Lace Bingo, Penrod was certainly in the right place—and definitely dressed in the appropriate gear.
Next up for PALS is Doggies on the Catwalk on Friday. It’s the annual event in which the fashionable students from Grady High School’s UrbanCouture program showcase their designs with local celebrities. Proceeds benefit PALS.
Last year, personalities including popular gay, DJ Jay McCracken, Bubba D. Licious and CNN weatherhunk Rob Marciano worked the runway with their fashions and dogs in tow.
On Feb. 10, PALS celebrates its 20th anniversary during its bingo event.
