Ladies who love ladies who love women who loved the vibe of Midtown’s gone-but-not-forgotten lesbian bar headed west for a treat as Bellissima’s former owner helped throw WestSide Pie’s new monthly Flirt! party.
Sure, sure. Lesbians like “pie.” In this case, it’s the pizza pies at Westside Pie, the party vibe brought by gay general manager Karen Smiley, and all the women that Anna Ragghianti knows how to attract with to her extensive contact list as a party promoter and former Bellissima owner.
For the second month, a big group of lesbians and even some gay male friends packed the eatery and its patio on Saturday for pizza, DJ beats, cocktails, video games and ping pong. Smiley and Ragghianti held court over the crowd along with DJ Ree De La Vega and specialty Flirtinis.
