The third installment of the monthly Spark! party found DJ Christopher Kind and Master of Mayhem Brent Star up to their tricks on Saturday, throwing down their brand of beats, performances, guests and surprises.
Launched in June, Spark! seeks to put the unexpected back into gay Atlanta nightlife. For August, the event went otherworldly. The Jungle crowd entered a little something the hosts called The Spark Zone, a new dimension of sound, lights and… your ever-lovin’ mind!
That included a “futuristic” underwear fashion show and special zoned out appearances by drag divas Summer Knight and Phoenix. For the finishing touch, Atlanta’s Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence mugged with partiers and held court as the event’s special guests.
