If there’s one thing that the teams of Hotlanta Softball League are as good at as they are on-the-field action, it’s beer busts. The Atlanta Assault proved it again Sunday on their way to the 2012 Gay Softball World Series.
To help the Assault raise money for getting its guys to the Twin Cities series later this month, the team gathered its members and supporters from around the league at FROGS Cantina for beer, shots and raffle prizes.
The Assault will represent HSL’s C Division at the Gay World Series. Other HSL teams headed to Minneapolis for the tournament include the Venom, Sluggers, Atl Leathermen (Masters team), Ambush, Genesis and Crew.
